Terms of Service

1 Service Description

ShieldFlow is a fraud detection and prevention application for Shopify stores. The Service:

• Analyzes checkout activity to detect suspicious patterns
• Blocks or flags potentially fraudulent checkouts
• Provides a merchant dashboard with analytics and management tools
• Optionally cleans up fake email profiles from marketing platforms

2 Eligibility

You must be an authorized administrator of a Shopify store to install and use ShieldFlow. You must comply with Shopify's Terms of Service and all applicable laws.

3 Subscription and Billing

• ShieldFlow offers Free and paid subscription plans with varying checkout quotas.
• Billing is managed through Shopify's billing system. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Shopify to charge the applicable fees.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

4 Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use ShieldFlow to block legitimate customers intentionally
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
• Circumvent usage quotas or rate limits

5 Service Availability and Performance

• We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• ShieldFlow operates on a fail-open principle: if our service is temporarily unavailable, checkouts will proceed normally to avoid blocking legitimate customers.
• We are not responsible for losses due to service interruptions, including but not limited to fraudulent orders that occur during downtime.

6 Data and Privacy

• Your use of ShieldFlow is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
• We process checkout data solely for fraud detection purposes.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• Upon uninstalling ShieldFlow, all stored data is deleted within 48 hours per Shopify's requirements.

7 Accuracy and Limitations

• ShieldFlow uses heuristic and pattern-based detection. No fraud detection system is 100% accurate.
• False positives (legitimate customers flagged) and false negatives (fraud not detected) may occur.
• You are responsible for reviewing flagged orders and adjusting detection rules to suit your store.
• ShieldFlow is a tool to assist your fraud prevention efforts, not a replacement for human judgment.

8 Limitation of Liability

• ShieldFlow is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for ShieldFlow in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for chargebacks, fraudulent orders, or financial losses resulting from fraud that ShieldFlow did not detect.

9 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10 Intellectual Property

• ShieldFlow and all related intellectual property remain the exclusive property of the Company.
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your Shopify store during your active subscription.

11 Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
• You may terminate by uninstalling ShieldFlow from your Shopify store.
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

12 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the ShieldFlow dashboard or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
